Professionally, I go by Hunter Scott Thomas. But you can call me Hunter — not to be confused with Thomas, as my first name often is.

 

I'm a two-time graduate from Illinois State University, having earned my Bachelor's in Mass Media and Master's in Communication. My background in media production, communication and marketing, and event management has uniquely positioned me to contribute to a variety of projects.

 

Whether producing a video series, drafting a speech, or planning a community event, I’ve become familiar with best practices for achieving engagement, accessibility, and positive sentiment. And understanding how each of these pieces contribute to an organization’s big picture strategy is a skill I’m constantly working to develop.

 

Currently, I work as a professional video editor for a Fortune 500 organization. I also consult organizations large and small on their brand content strategy — furthering their good work by telling their stories and engaging their stakeholders.
